Excel - Remove duplicates

It is a common task in data analysis to remove duplicates. Excel has a handy tool to remove duplicate rows. Notice the last row of Bob is a duplicate, which is same as row 3. 1. Click Data > Remove duplicates 2. It will ask you to select the right columns to clean. Select the right columns then click OK . 3. Excel will do it and pop up a message box telling the number of duplicate records are found and removed, and how many unique records remain. Click OK . 4. Now you see the result with the record of Bob on row 6 is removed.
